The meeting was opened by Chairperson Bill Stewart with the pledge
of allegiance.
Present: Charles Mead, Harvey Rosenkrans, Daniel Depue, David Darrow,
Bill Goodrich, Jim Lindsey Ted Plevinsky, Tom Curley, Charlie Fahringer,
Charlie Pierson, Bill Stewart, Beverly Way, Bob Boyanowski, Bob Templeton,
Charlie Davis & Mary Mead.
Visitors: Lori Raub, Lawrence O’Reilly, Thomas O’Reilly,
Donald Rifenberry, Don Roberts,
Clifford Reed, Gene Famorlari, Helen Vile, David Mitchell, Heidi Mitchell,
Mark Creamer, Frank Pinkowski, Bambi Lobdell, Francis Fruehan, Angel
Kublo, Jeanne Sullivan, Gerald Sullivan, Dale Webster, Lisa Warner,
Anglo Scarfalloto, John James, Kelly Harding ,J.Gurn & L. Gurn
Roll showed a quorum of 8 municipalities present.
Correction to minutes of Jan. 15 by Dave Darrow is as follows: As
an alternate delegate Dave Darrow does not have any voting power.
Tom Curley made a motion to approve the minutes as corrected with
a second by Beverly Way, motion carried.
Treasurer report: NTC has a balance of $66,739.84 and the NTC Composting
reports a balance of $7,430.15. A motion was made by Beverly Way to
accept the Treasurer’s report, seconded by Bob Boyanowski, motion
carried.
Chairperson Bill Stewart informed the group that the Insurance which
was due in February has been paid.
Old Business: Nothing new on zoning.
New Business: Chairperson Bill Stewart talked to
Joe Bomersheim a Rep from Alta Resources Gas Company who said he would
come to our next meeting. Joe’s phone number is 278-2261 if anyone
would like to talk with him.
SALDO: County Planner Bob Templeton presented subdivision
activity with in the 12 Municipalities between the years of 1994 and
2008. He said it might help us make a decision of whether we want our
own planning commissions.
It was noted at this meeting that Franklin & Jessup Townships
do not want SALDO or zoning but want to remain in the NTC.
Larry O’Reilly ask why other Townships don’t follow Franklin’s
survey response. Mary Mead said we are all different.
Angel Kublo ask what the other townships are going to do. Bill
stewart responded we are all working to decide.
Chairperson Bill Stewart ask for a motion to adjourn, a motion was
made by Chuck Mead and seconded by Tom Curley.
The meeting adjourned at 8pm.
Next meeting will be held at Choconut Township.
