Bill Dovin read an article from the January 2009 issue of Pa Township News pages 48-50. A portion of this article states that PSATS supports legislation as taxable real estate, much like coal, limestone and all other minerals. This would allow local municipalities, county and school districts to levy property taxes on the assessed value of these mineral rights. Bill questions how assessments would be done and suggested we need to contact Elam Herr to voice an opinion.

Bill Dovin made a motion to adjourn with a second from Beverly Way.

The meeting adjourned at 8:05pm

Respectively submitted
Mary J. Mead
Secretary
