The meeting was opened by chairperson Tom Swan with the pledge of
allegiance.
Present were: Tom Swan, Dave Darrow, Bill Dovin, Bill Stewart, Mary
Long, Tom Curley, Dave Stetson, Beverly Way, Chuck Mead, Charles Fahringer,
Bob Templeton, Bruce Griffis, Charles Pierson, Kendall Mitchell, Bill
Goodrich, Harvey Rosenkrans Ted Plevinsky, Dave McGuigan, Joe Tims,
Jerry Thorn, Mary Mead and Frank Burns.
Guests included Rob Andrews,William Pershern, Emily Eaton, John Benninger
all Cabot Oil & Gas Reps. Mary Ann Tims.
Eleven members answered Roll Call.
There being no quorum at the August meeting no meeting was held. The
minutes of the July meeting were not read because we did not
have them in time for this meeting.
The Treasurer reported a balance of $ 58,592.75
in the NTC account, with $2,365.57 in the composting account. Dave McGuigan
made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report with a second
by Bill Stewart, motion carried.
Old Business:
President Swan reported that on Sept. 14 NEP Wireless broke ground in
Silver Lake Twp. for Phase II cell tower sites. 6 sites have been named
at this point. They are in the Townships of Silver Lake, Forest Lake,
Bridgewater, Choconut, & Franklin and Liberty
New Business:
Bob Templeton discussed changes to Zoning
which Carson sent to him for this meeting. Bob said for anyone with
any concerns to call
Carson before next meeting. Also that the Zoning Maps are now complete.

It was discussed that we should have 4 public hearings. One being
in Montrose on 11/15/07 and on 11/19/07 in Apolacon with others to
be decided. They are to be advertised in the Wyalusing Rocket, the
Transcript, the Independent and the Press & Sun Bulletin.
Each Township at their October meeting needs to approve the
date for a public hearing.
President Swan introduced Rob Andrews from Cabot Oil & Gas along
with John, Emily & Bill. They made a presentation concerning Leases
of Property they are acquiring in this County.
Next Meeting to be held at Bridgewater Township.
With no further business to come before the body Chuck Mead made a
motion to adjourn seconded by Bill Stewart.
Meeting adjourned at 8:37pm.
