Meeting Minutes - August 2006
Middletown 8/17/06
The meeting was opened by Chairperson Tom Swan with the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Present: Mary Long, Tom Sobonski, Bill Stewart, David Darrow, Charles
Fahringer, Frank Burns, John Bauer, Tom Curley, Bob Templeton, Mary
Mead, Chuck Mead, Marvin Small, Bill Dovin, Harvey Rosenkrans, Beverly
Way, Tom Swan, Carolyn Doolittle, someone from Rush and Jessup, Liberty – did
not sign in.
Guest: Stacie Wilson Independent reporter
Secretary’s Report: Bill Stewart made the motion to accept,
Charles Fahringer the second. Vote was affirmative.
Treasurer’s Report: Friendsville as usual had mixed comments
about paying their share of the zoning. Tom will talk to Dale
Yoder. Charles Fahringer gave the opinion we would have to absorb
their share. This discussion will be continued after a discussion with
Dale Yoder and Carson Helfrich.
Harvey Rosenkrans made the motion to accept the Treasurer’s report,
Beverly Way made the second and the vote was affirmative.
Notebooks were passed and a correction was made to the By-law print
out.
Cell Towers: Kevin Donahue IWA is still in the picture. Several
members had questions about the company and their offer. Tom
Swan has his phone number for questions. Several thought that
each municipality should sign its own deal while others gave the opinion
it would be better done together. To be continued.
Ed Tourje’s company is ready to expand faster than he originally
thought possible.
Grinder/Composting..meeting with Cris Fritz on August 22nd. Two
buildings needed at Montrose and Forest Lake. Grinder must go
inside for the winter.
All 911 addresses will be done by the end of this year. If an
individual does not respond, the PO will give an address.
Bill Stewart made the motion that the meeting adjourn.
